atotam, “they (singular) tell a story about it” in Plains Cree language, is a gathering for the Indigenous literary and performing arts communities. Co-curated by Lindsay Nixon and Moe Clark, its inaugural edition includes panels, performances, and a workshop. The gathering brings together emerging and established storytellers, local and visiting nations, to foster collaboration, inter-generational sharing, and community-based practice.
